
Samuel Gossner
As founder of Versilian Studios LLC, Samuel Gossner is a sample library developer, sound recordist, videographer, and composer with a keen interest in an open and content-rich public domain. His work in the virtual instrument market has helped thousands of composers around the world of all ages to create beautiful music easily and affordably.
In addition to his sampling work, Sam is an active recordist and videographer in the Boston, MA area, working primarily in the areas of solo and chamber repertoire from medieval to contemporary, as well as working with jazz ensembles from trios to big bands. He has been the resident recordist, product photographer, and videographer at Virtuosity Musical Instruments since 2018, in this position producing dozens of videos ranging from product demonstrations to masterclasses and thousands of product photos.

Over the past decade, I have been fortunate enough to record dozens of performers, ensembles, and locations of all levels, sizes, and shapes. Everything I do is with careful attention to the craft, refined through hundreds of hours of sampling sessions.
